Dr. Matthew Diston, one of the chiropractors at Reactivate, is a recent graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he received the most recent evidence-based education on how to treat various musculoskeletal conditions. Over the course of the program he became proficient in performing spinal manipulation and various soft tissue techniques as well as prescribing rehabilitation exercises. Throughout his fourth year of chiropractic education he also became certified as a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider through the McMaster University Department of Anesthesia in collaboration with the McMaster University Continuing Health Sciences Education Program. Having a particular interest in low back pain, Dr. Diston also provided guest lectures to the George Brown College Practical Nursing Program where he addressed students on how to care for their low back and prevent work-related back injuries.
